It's software for the SNK Photo-Sticker vending machines (Puri-Kura in Japanese).

You know, you step inside the booth, put in 50 cents or whatever, it takes your picture and makes a sheet of stickers for you with your picture on it.

That MVS cart has a bunch of different background designs for the stickers.

Those are so awesome! I had no idea that the neo print was run with an MVS!?!

Yeah, I didn't either at first, but it makes sense. The operator could simply switch the cartridge instead of the whole board or machine anytime a new set of BG's was produced.

My favourite series was a set of Japanese ghost story backgrounds, those were really cool. I used to have a couple of sheets of those.

Wizard Wasabi has some stickers with KOF character BG's too I think.

Another note... the machines in Japan anyway were co-developed with Saurus.

Do a search on the forums to get more info on these things.

If anyone is thinking about buying these to play on your MVS, dont bother. These are not compatable with any normal MVS board. Neo Print requires a special non-jamma <a href="http://www.youlikeum.com/neoprint/DCP00898.jpg" target="_blank">board</a>.

I own one of these machines and whenever people see it they're floored that anyone would buy it. But hey, it's just another item of evidence that I'm not right in the head. Along with the organs in the freezer floating in vodka bottles like model schooners, and the assortment of power tools under my kitchen sink.
