Hmmm...I feel a MOTW air with RotD

Yes I really do. After checking out the official english site yesterday, I've been thinking about it constantly. The characters look great! Boy, that Cassandra chick is something else isn't she!! I've read some of the story behind it (it was difficult with all the Engrish though), and it's interesting. Some people have said that the graphics aren't as crisp and that the animation isn't as intensive as MOTW, with some bland backgrounds, but from that one screen shot that's up, it looks solid. I'm really excited about their moves and how they look. Especially the supers. Has anyone seen them, and are they eye popping?

This maybe a silly question but I noticed that there are two characters named Billy and Jimmy, and are they the same as the ones in the old arcade game beat em up, Double Dragon?

ROTD is the follow up to the 1 on 1 double dragon fighter on the neogeo. So, yes that´s the same jimmy and billy, in a sense.
The backgrounds look great, the sprites ok and the anims ok. The special effects for DM´s and such looks amazing.

This is a 2 on 2 tag team fighter. And the team duplex combos look amazing as well. I´m pretty exited about this game. But my expectations are not as great as for KOF 2002 or SNK vs Capcom for example.

its looking good to me. I just can't see it being better than MOTW though i mean that game is in a league of its own. Still i'm looking forward to it and oh yes Billy and Jimmy are out of Double Dragon.

I am not looking for it to be another MOTW, but I am looking for it to be a very solid fighter and get a lot of play out of it. I cant wait, a little less than 2 weeks away WOOOHOOOO! <img src="graemlins/multi.gif" border="0" alt="[Multi Color Bouncey]" />
