Ok... I paid $24.05 for fastest shipping (Express Overnight Delivery) on a NGPC and two games here at Neo Store on Thursday the 12th and it is NOT HERE. At least if they dont get it here by the end of the day, which is very soon I can get my money back... BUT I AM MAD!

Damn USPS

Note: I have ordered multiple things from different online stores with Next Day Air, and many times they have showed up as much as 5 days later.

Both USPS and UPS suck ass. So far I've been "lucky" with FedEx and Airborne Express, but for how long I don't know... :(

I don't know, I get all of my DVDs from DVD Planet in California. Here I am in Maryland, slear across the country, and I've only ever had 1 of their packages get lost in the last 1.5 yrs via USPS. Just so you know, I am an Anime freak, so I get at least 4 DVDs a week for the most part.

DVD Planet ships the DVDs on Friday, and like clock work they are here on Monday. Sometimes as late as Wed. if there is a holiday in there somewhere.

I never trust UPS. 90% of all of my packages from them are damaged in some way, and they never believe their people did the damage when I file claims. Fuckers.

Out of 10 times of using the USPS, they lost one of my packages, luckily it was just an artpack (mvs) for a not too rare game.

UPS on the other hand, i used them once and they completely messed up everything. I called them up because the sender put my home address for delivery but it wasn't supposed to be sent there. They told me the addy change was all right. Next day i still get a sticker on my door about UPS trying to deliver.

I then called up my gf (where the package was to be delivered), she told me she had a package for me. She opened it, and it ended up being someone else's package, it was some sort of rule book for a sport.

i then called them up to try to solve the issue, i had to explain them that somebody there put the new adress sticker on the wrong box.

They finaly delivered the proper package, but they called back my gf to ask her where the wrong package was supposed to be delivered. As if we knew...

I've read several times about UPS, all negative comments. My gf had some other negative experiences with their service.

USPS on the other hand, never failed when insuring the package. But yes, they are slow sometimes, but then again it could be the customs in my case...

Do I live in some kind of alternate universe? Neither I nor anyone I know has ever lost a package or had an overly slow delivery that was clearly the result of the shipping... And one of my good friends and I do a lot of ebaying...

Same... knock on wood, but not a single problem with USPS, UPS on the other hand.... nightmares with them, but USPS Priority mail always ships just about anywhere in the country in three days! That is damn fast. I actually send stuff from LA to Tampa a lot, and it gets there in two days!

Well mabey its bad in the US? I ship alot of things and have used alot of different couriers and have had zero problems (besides a day slower service for living on the island i guess) I find Purolator to be the best though.

Overnight shipping is a waste of money.
Do you really need it the next day?
Priority shipping is way cheaper, and ussually gets there in 3 days.

the one where the gorilla throws the suitcase down the stairs, and jumps on it? anyway ups does suck. there like that snl scetch where these hotel bellhops get the luggage and slam it around and break stuff. i hear that if a ups guy wants to see what's in a box, they just kick it till it opens. i once ordered a model kit from www.hlj.com, it was a master grade black trinity zaku from mobile suit gundam. when i got it the box that the model was in was all mangled, and the injection boards were all bent and snapped. i hate ups, but i can't do anything about them. and their shifty tactics.

I was thinking more about the classic 70's commercial where the gorilla is in the cage just bouncing the hell out of this samsonite suitcase..
If you don't pack your parcel well...EXPECT 99.6% that your item(s) will be damaged!!

articles clothing and jewelery would be something to be concerned about employees stealing .They have very tight security against theft..although I've heard about some expensive jewelery that got lifted two years ago..
I only recommend UPS for your TIMEZONE..I live in PA and if I mail something to NewYork,NJ, Virgina or any other neighboring state the parcel will usually arrive NEXT DAY @ a normal rate charge

I've never had a problem with USPS, both on the sending and receiving side of things. In most cases, if I use Priority, the item gets to its destination in 2 days. Very rarely does it take 3. The overnight delivery option when I use it is always delivered the next day.

It may have to do with your local post office as well. Some are staffed with temporary/hourly workers at certain times of the year which could be one of the reasons behind your delay.
