Of course they are! Just very recently, SNK released Metal Slug 3, Garou:
Mark of the Wolves, King of Fighters 2000, Zupapa, and Sengoku 3 for MVS and
AES respectively. The King of Fighters 2001 was just released in the Arcade, with a
home release following shortly.
What I am curious about is whether or not there are games still being made for the NEO GEO? Also, another question that popped up in my mind the other day is WHY would someone WANT to still make games for the NEO GEO? <hr></blockquote>
Why not? SNK is still popular in Asia, and their games are still being played in Asian Arcades.
How is there any money in that? <hr></blockquote>
Answer me this: how does Capcom continue to make money in the Arcade?
de from the select few that are still die hard NEO GEO gamers, how can a company still intend on making games for the NEO GEO when I can't really see there being much money in it??? Anyways, I am just wondering about this stuff....</strong><hr></blockquote>
They also port their games to different platforms. Have you ever seen a DC system? Many different SNK releases have appeared on DC over the years, with Garou: MOTW being the most recent.
