So I'm cleaning out my room, toss out a few boxes of old stuff and only now realized that in one of the boxes was a packet I got from SNK 10 years ago.
I wrote SNK back in 1992 telling them what a big Neo Geo fan I was (I was probably 12). In turn, the lady there sent me a packet full of promotional stuff - AES promo, shodown II mini poster, neo geo cd promo etc. Heh, in my letter I asked why Geese Howard came back in Fatal Fury 2 when he fell off a building in Fatal Fury. The lady said "he recovered in the hospital." LOL
I also asked when Neo Geo cart prices would go down. Even back then they were $199. She said they wouldn't go down anytime soon, but to remember that I was paying for those arcade quality graphics (very true even today). She also said that when the Neo Geo CD would be released there would be an alternative for gamers to buy CDs instead of carts.
Anyhow, just wanted share my loss with everyone else. I still can't believe I just tossed it out. If anyone has some old SNK promo stuff please let me know.
