Lets see...

You want a classic red and black Neo cab instead of the smaller Candy? Why? Candys look cooler and they come with bigger screens (25" and 29"). Calssic cabs go for a bit less, but something tells me if you jumped into AES collecting then the $100 won't matter much.

Anyway, you can find an empty Neo cab with a 19" - 25" monitor for around $200 (Cadnys go for $250 - $300). They often pop up in your Penny-Savers or Classified-type adds. You can also attend an arcade auction or simply make an offer on one at your local arcade (alot of times they are willing to part with them). Boards range from $150 for a 1 slot to $300 for a 6 slot. You might want to check out http://www.vektorlogic.com/ if you pick up and empty cab and want a 6 slot board, they sell them used for $195.

That's pretty much it. I would recommend picking up a complete cab so you can see it running before you take it home, but I don't know of any dealers on the East coast. If you're lucky, maybe an arcade operator will let one of his Neos go for for around $400, then it's just a matter of bringing it home and playing the night away

Bro go for a 29inch candy.... you will be happy you did. Like i said before...check around either in yellow pages for vintage game stores or arcades... you should be able to get a good deal.

Best of Luck
