eBay bastard.

So I'm looking on eBay, and I see the same postings over and over again:

1000+ Arcade Manuals on CD!

When I read the description the guy mentions how he has a bunch of Neo Geo manuals on there. I check out the screenshots of the file names and boy do they look familiar. Check it out:

He did not even bother to change the names of the files when he downloaded them from my site. Now, not that I own them, but I did scan most of 'em and I put them up for free.

Lazy bastard.

I emailed him to say how much I appreciated his efforts.

I have about 15 new manuals to scan and post, but I'm thinking twice about it.

What a jackoff! Briggs, some advice I would give you is to edit (although it may take awhile) each manual and put somewhere "If you've paid for any of these then you've been ripped off!" like there are with many programs out there. It may seem like a lot of work, but it'll keep people trying to profit off of them at bay.

That is exactly my plan. I just finished teaching an Adobe Acrobat class last week, so I have some new ideas on how to make the manuals better, and I think a comment like that is the perfect idea.

Where he crossed the line is that he took PDF files that I created and give out for free and is selling them. Of course you can argue that I don't own the rights to the manuals, but I'm providing them as a service.

Also, some of the PDFs are originals that I created with pinouts for some of the connectors. They are not scans.
