U cant those in 98, only in 2K, 2K1 and 2K2. The negitive backgrounds in 2K1 are done by exicuting a SDM (super death move). This can be done by doing a DM with A+C or B+D depending on the move. For example, Kyo's SDM is double half circle back and A+C together close to the oppenent. Check up on a faq to see all the SDMs for the characters. This topic should have went in the gameplay or KOF boards
