That's the price Game Choice Club is selling their ROTD games for. However, be warned that this is a Hong Kong-based retailer and the shipping fees will probably eat up any cost savings you're likely to benefit from by going that route.

Just threw it out there for any Neo fans based in Asia.

he does a lot of professional conversions, and its a really good guy. most people like him, anyways.

on topic: but the neostore is giving us phat shirts and posters and all that jazz. i dont mind the extra 25$ for some cool loot like that.

Exactly. I'd buy ROTD from the Neostore solely for the extra items and the reassuring fact that its being sold by Shawn.

I'm not proposing that people go out and buy from Gamechoice at all...it's just an option in the event that some overseas Neo fan wants the game but was turned off by the high shipping costs from the US, they would have a source closer to them. I will not buy from these HK retailers as I've heard some are pretty shady operations.

Generally Shawn is the best reliable re-seller, but shouldn't that be an "exclusive Neo-Geo.com" release game ? <img src="graemlins/envy.gif" border="0" alt="[Envy]" /> :D ;) :p

You actually think there are going to be more copies made of the US version than the Jap. The English Run of KOF 01 was 500 and I know the Jap run sold over 6000 copies in the first week alone so the run was over that number at least.

No way. There will be no where NEAR 1000 US copies of ROTD. Try more like 200, give or take . . . probably one of the smallest English releases EVER. There are currently 142 English copies remaining, and there's no way that a significant quantity have sold. Say 60 copies sold, give or take . . . this production will be VERY small.
