Sound + BG + charas = japanophile frenzy.

This game OWNZ RotD for free in any aspect.

Well worth its cost, and that's really something for a Neo new release these days.

I feel like buying it but changed my mind

whenever I think of the stupid (steams?or energy?) that knock me away whenever I try to jump in on the enemy for more combos.

Well, gameplay is OK, but nothing radical.

This one is a fun and colorful game, not a 'serious masterpiece' to be compared with 'top series' on the system (KOF, FF, etc)

I really badly want it, but I am gonna wait until the MVS cart drops to about $200 or so... I'd buy it now, but I need to save money for SNK Vs Capcom wink
