wow,i will try to go to that, i am still looking for the elusive simpsons arcade machine, or strret fighter 2SamuraiShodownSensei:
If you could wait until November 15th, an arcade auction house will be coming back to Timonium MD.

I went last year and saw a few Neo Geo cabs. One was a nice looking six slot I think. I'm pretty sure they went for over 500-600 dollars.
Make sure you rent a U haul, or a large van.
If you wanted to bid, there was a $100 deposit you had to put down. The auction house charges 15% of whatever you purchase, the 15% extra goes to them.
It took a while for them to get the auction going, but they did it well. They started at the front selling new Ms. Pacman cocktail tables, touch screen machines etc.. Once that was over they broke the arcade machine area in half. Two guys were going at once and they went down the line. So you would have to follow with the crowd or wait by the machine.
Over all it was a good experience. I managed to get out around 1:00 with my cocktail table.

Working Jamma cab, $50!!!! Sir, I wish to subscribe to your newsletterI'dBuyThatForADollar:
there are cabs on the east coast on ebay all the time, if something is close enough, you could probably check out the machine before bidding also. If you dont care if the cab is dedicated or not, you could always convert a jamma cab very easily, I've heard of working jamma cabs going as cheap as $50 at arcade auctions.
BTW, thats a hella funny captain tomaday picture!
