Ok folks, here's a question that I've been pondering since trying to decide myself whether the lack of a true-MVS version of the upcoming SNK games (as I assume none of the new games will be MVS but instead continuing to be Jamma-based) would sway my stance on AES vs MVS.
I have yet to buy my own system, instead using my sway over a local coin-oper to keep him stocking games I want (alas, his 4 slots will never see SvCC), however given my want to not have to drop quarters like a 2-bit ho, I now want my gaming fix at home on something better then a PS2 (even with the xarcade controller... its not the same).
Does the lack of support to the MVS platform make an AES even more desirable now? Or will you MVS owners simply go and buy the Jamma board set-up to play the SvCC, SS0, etc instead? (Or, not to open up the thread for flames, will you buy a bootleg version that gets put out on MVS, should they start to exist [which I think is probably a safe bet after the AES release])?
I'm curious cause I still don't know what I'm going to do about it...
