Hey guys and gals...
I'm starting to do my research on arcades in the US for an upcoming project I'm working on. I figured I could get the best results if I went to forum sites like this and asked a few questions.

What I'm looking for is about 2-3 arcades in each state that has the best representation of SNK/Playmore and Capcom titles, or fighting games in general. I'm looking for arcades that are good at getting the newest games the fastest and has a healthy scene for competition. I already know that in Massachusetts you have Good Time Emporium (probably the only one left), and in New York you have the Chinatown Fair, but to make this work it would be best to have as many listed as possible. Those who live in the US, list any noteworthy arcades that may be in your area, preferrably with addresses & phone numbers (if possible).

I'll post more info about why I'm asking for this information later... :D

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the info.
Like I said before, I'm just collecting data for now. I'll explain what I'm trying to do after I've finish doing some research. :)

One in ashville has SC 2.... I think it's called Aladians castle or something.

Anyway, yeah. NC isn't doing so great with the Neo-Geo right now frown

Are there actually 3 arcades in Maryland that have a Neo Geo, at all???? I think we used to have 3 arcades with either a Neo Geo and/or one of Capcom's boards in it. If only Hershey Park was in Maryland and not Pennsylvania, that might still be true. frown

We were on life support until South Square in Durham was demolished last year. I knew a lot of disappointed people who expected Charlotte to get SVC on opening day.

In Orlando, Florida there are at least 3 arcades...

#1 IMHO is Rocky's Replay (Semoran Blvd, Casselberry FL.)

If it's new, be it Neo-Geo, or anything fighting, they usually seem to have it before anyone else. (even the tourist places) All the Fighting Games are there, (Tekken 4, MvsC2, Soul Calibur 2, haven't been there in the last few weeks, but the guy said they were getting the new SnkvsC) It's a privately owned gameroom that is very cool. they have several Neo's, and about 100 vids & pins in all. Serious Competition area for south Orlando gamerz make_fac .

#2 XS (International Drive, Orlando Fl.)
Owned/Partnered By Namco, they also seem to have the new stuff, but no Neo-Geo, and most of what they do have is meant to appeal to the tourists. Tons of DDR Machines and the like, they seem to be trying very hard to be a 'pocket' Dave and Busters. About 200 pieces overall. and The fighting games are all there (Tekken 4, Soul Calibur 2, No MvsC2 tho.) On the flip side, they have the only Sega Derby Owners Club in town, A game I personally find VERY addicting.

#3 Cyberstation (West Oaks Mall, Ocoee FL.)
Not really the game room that everyone thinks of in the Orlando Area, but as far as mall gamerooms go, It's pretty Good. I may be biased because once upon a time I worked there... but I have been trying hard to think of a better one. It's not got the newest pieces, But it does have a Tekken 4 33", Soul Calibur 2, MvsC2 33",Tekken Tag and such. About 50 pieces or so. I guess it's not so much the games, but being on the opposite side of town from Rocky's, all of the north Orlando gamerz buttrock that make competition fierce seem to show up there.

Have Fun All,
-Daniel
