I've run into an odd problem with my Baseball Stars MVS cart. I'm playing it on a 2 slot board using a Supergun on my TV. For some reason whenever I try playing it with a joystick plugged into port 1 the game is all screwy. It seems to think I'm always pushing in a direction or the D button (you cant start the game because it always calls time out). However if I play it using joystick port 2 it plays just fine. Is this a known problem with this game?

BTW it's not the joystick, I've checked it out with other games it and works just fine.

I went and checked the game using my 2 slot MVS, and I get no problems with it. I first tested it on a SuperGun with MAS joystick. Then I tested it on my Capcom Impress cabinet. Both times, they worked fine. I even did a test again on a 6 slot and once again it was okay.

I'm using the Universe BIOS, maybe that has sometihng to do with it. I'll plug in the old BIOS and sell.

Make sure that all the dip switched are up. Sometimes if a couple of them are down, it screws up the controls. :)

That could be it. I know one of the dip switches is down (the one that doesn’t do anything). I'll try that tonight.
