well i think KOF2002 is a very good game.
although in the series its not in its league.

That's the way it works around here. The first week the game is out, it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. After a month or more, people start calling it shit.

2k2 isn't a bad game, although it's not the best in the series...it's a step in the right direction once again.

Besides...where else can I have Orochi Yashiro, Maxima, and K9999 in one team?

reviews are better when given in retrospect.

Look at how people initially reacted to KoF 98 - a lot of people thought 97 was a better game. After time, things changed.

Or Ninja Masters

Or Twinkle Star Sprites

Or Samurai Shodwon III.

IMO, Fatal Fury 3 > KoF 2002.

That is NOT true at all! Everyone bashed MS4 to pieces on its release, and now a lot more people think it's a worthwhile game; you're a lot less likely to see a huge MS4 bashing post now. Not everyone loved KOF 2002 on its release either. There were plenty of bad reviews. That's the reason I never got it. When it first came out, the negative opinions swayed me not to get it and just to stick with 98.

cos they dont fit with the rest of the old stuff

i mean theyre not terrible games.
but what a dilema.
still dont know why i dont 'love' 02 like everyone
else. but its just not as much fun to me for
some reason.
