Mini Marquee Fading

Hey all I was wondering, I've seen some MM's that are pretty bad, a few AOF ones I've seen the text bubbles are completely faded away. I was wondering if the lights in the cabinets will fade them like this or only natural light?

I would assume that the problem would mainly be natural light.

I kinda assumed so as well since where else could the term sunfading come from. But just wanted to check. I'm looking into a way to make a poster of MM's and Large Marquees against a flat panel of light. Should look cool. At least it does in my head wink

it looks like sun fading on mine....but i can't imagine someone keeping an MM in the sunlight...

I got quite a few mini marquess all nice and clear still apart from world heroes 2 jet which is faded and almost dark brown and it was taken from a one of the 4 slot marquee holders in a dark arcade so obviously the sunlight never touched this and it was the light from the back of the machine that did this

Maybe the cart was at one point in time in a different arcade?

Is'nt it funny that when items are in the sun they get lighter, and our skin gets darker?

Yes....

And anyway I'll be sure to post pics if I ever get around to making my marquee light frame. Although many times my ideas never get off the ground, this would like very cool in my dorm room.

So just to ask here first, anyone know where I could get something like this? A fairly large size light panel I guess. I don't really know what I'm looking for since this was created in my head not because of things I saw at a store
