It is a very BAD idea. The two series feel, and play totally different from eachother. I would not want Samurai Shodown to play like Last Blade, and I would not want Last Blade to play like SS.

Plus, both games take place at different periods in time. Mixing them together is beyond stupid.

I agree with the play styles not mixing. But I don't think you can really use the time periods as a factor. Look at SNK vs Capcom..........

Snk vs Capcom is not really the same thing. It is a crossover with different characters, from different games, from different companies.

SNK blending their two blade fighter series together would be a mess. I like the different atmoshpere in both games. A silly crossover between the two would mess that up.

So long this comes to the next gen consoles,2D and plays decent...I'm all thumbs up.

Apart from the fact they are both weapon-based fighters, they are very different. Its like comparing Gunstar Heroes against Metal Slug. Same genre, very different game.

What if they if they put all the characters in one game with a very different atmosphere than from both series?
