I picked up 2.

Very nice. I can't wait to use the analog sticks.

YAAAHHOOO! Ive wanted to use my PS controllers on the Neo CD for a while now. :-)

Anyone who's bought one, can you verify it works OK?

Also, they say you can use the ANALOG stick (on the PS controller) for directionals. DOes this mean you can't use the D-pad on the PS controller as the D-pad on the Neo? DO you HAVE to use the analog stick for directionals? Anyone KNOW??

It would REALLY suck if you couldnt use the D-pad :confused:

Also, which Neo buttons are mapped to the 8 PS1 action buttons do? (X, Square, Circle, Triangle, L1, L2, R1, R2)

(I assume Start and select become Start and Select) :D

PLease reply soon. I REALLY got to know about this. Thanks in advance for the help :)

I believe this just came out, so I doubt anyone has had a chance to try one yet to see how it works exactly. I'm sure you can use the d-pad as well as the analog stick though. I'm probably gonna order one myself and find out.

Great! Well when you guys DO get yours, can someone please make sure the D-pad on the PS controller works and then post here so I know. glee

Would REALLY appreciate it. help

Just want to MAKE sure you can use the D-pad. It's just WRONG to use Analog Sticks on 2D games. buttrock

Damn... thats pretty cool.

Any word on what buttons replace what?
I'd assume...
[] = A
X = B
/\ = C
O = D

Better be like this :

A = X
B = O
C = ￾
D = /\

That's the way I set up all of my fighters on the PS/PS2.

I'd actually like to see a converter that does the opposite... when the US releases of the PS2 KOFs, and when SvCC comes out for PS2, I'd like to be able to play it with an old-style NG stick instead of a PS2 pad...

wow i could use one of those, a ps controller costs what $5.00 at funcoland, then get one of those you just paid $25 for what essentially is a neo controller. the only snk brand neo controller that you can get for that much is a cd pad, and those things suck, the only thing cheaper is getting a dc stick from funco land for $10 and then mod it to play on the neo. i really should get one of those next time i have $20 kicking around i'm getting one.

ANYBODY get the PS to Neo Geo controller converter and test it yet? :)
If so, how does it work? And can you use the D-pad? (NOT analog stick)

You can construct such an adaptor yourself, for using Neo Geo controllers in a PS or almost any other console, it's just that you'll need to sacrifice a controller for that console. Check the sticky thread in Tech support.

I ordered one about two weeks ago. But, it's a waste of money now, since I got two PS1 pads modded by Matt.

Got this from the ToToTek site, which makes the product.
[] = A
X = B
/\ = C
O = D
L1 = Turbo A
L2 = Turbo B
R1 = Function A
R2 = Function B

Enable Slow Motion: Hold down Function B and press SELECT
Disable Slow Motion: Hold Function A and press SELECT

Level 1 Turbo: Hold down Turbo B and press any button
Level 2 Turbo: Hold down Turbo A and press any button
