Where to get Neo cabinet parts? Marquees, overlays, etc?

Are there any places online that carry these types of items, or am I reduced to an eBay scavenger hunt?

I've found an arcade shop locally, but they want $150 for a control panel overlay, which seems a little excessive.

I guess it depends on the condition and how bad you want it.

no...that's excessive.

I got an overlay on Ebay, and found it was from a company that sells them outright as well. I got another overlay from them directly, but I can't remember the company name anymore.

I would look on Ebay for the parts, and when you find one, look to see if they're really an arcade shop that's just selling some things on Ebay as well. You might find that they sell everything you need.

Those guys have one of the worst reputations on RGVAC for shitty quality. I bought a Centipede overlay as well as a Donkey Kong art set - both of which took me over a month to get my money back when I sent them back due to the poor quality.

they went by pinsetc, and boardsetc on ebay. They have changed their ebay name due to the bad feedback and newsgroup responses.

beware.

I bought one of their Neo CPO repro's and I'd have to agree. The colors suck.

I'm really looking for stuff to restore a dedicated red cab, so the generic conversion stuff isn't really going to work.

I know someone who might list(Ebay) a 4 slot original Control panel,(from a Cab like mine)
Plus the..
The Monitor Glass,smoke,MVS-4.....Coin Box..and some other parts..
He sold most of everything else..Mother board etc.
He's keeping the monitor..and PSU..

I'm not sure what other parts he has left besides these.
I just responded to an email of his a few minutes ago.
I'm going to buy the coin door he has for spare parts plus I need a small part off it for my cab.

He sold me the 4 slot MV-ELD LCD Panels ...I needed..to make a whole one..All 4 of his Bulbs worked though I just had to re-solder one bulb..
I now have a fully working 4 bulb MV-ELD LCD Panel in my cab..Sweet,,Thanks to him..
And I have some spares just incase..

He's a very nice guy and has great feedback..
I just need to ask him if/ when he's going to list..or if he's taking offers off Ebay..

I bought the MV-ELD LCD Panels....from him through a personal offer..not Ebay..
He packed the MV-ELD LCD Panels well and shipped them fast..I got them today.

Let me know exactly what you need and I'll ask him..or post what's needed here....He reads postings here.

Woops. I never delt with them before or knew any of this. I just knew they carried a neo geo overlay is all. Thanks for posting this info.

www.quarterarcade.com will sell you an overlay and MVS sideart but it's fairly expensive.

You can try: www.videoconnect.com

But keep in mind that they have not updated their website for about 4 years. So you better call them (1-800-444-6854), they can tell you what they have and give you their up to date price.

Video Connect was one of the first places I tried when I started looking. I'd had good luck there before finding some conversion side art pieces.

I've called there twice now, both times the woman replied "we have that, let me check and I'll call you right back." ...and then never called me back. I've also e-mailed them and gotten no reply.

At any rate, I haven't had any luck getting to them lately.
