I like fighters and all but I would love to
see a shooter a la Blazing Star or something
besides a fighter?

anyone agree?

Of course, I think we all do. But unfortunatly the reality of the situation seems to be that Playmore has to make games that they believe will be sure fire hits b/c of their financial situation. I, also, would love a new shooter! But I can't see that happening, unless you consider MS5 to be a "shooter" of sorts

I guess we should just be happy that we are even getting new games at this point :)

I want playmore to make more beat-thems up game.
Capcom had stop making beat-them up games and SNK fighting game can't bring them profits like they use to.

I went to my local arcades every week and sad to say noboby is playing MVS anymore.
Matrimelee> you can sit there whole day and nobody even bother to challenge you.

Everybody is playing Guilty gear XX reloaded(fighting games) and IGS- the glaidator or knights of Valour (beat-them up) games.

Only hope is SVC chaos will bring new profits to arcade centre, if not we can see many arcade centres pulling out of MVS, marking the death of Neo geo very soon.

Well, the basic scheme is to make money with "big" titles like popular fighters, metal slugs etc to then produce "smaller" titles.

Samurai V could look like a first step.

They could attempt an ASO III IMO
Older titles are the best buttrock

I agree, I love fighters a lot, but they need to make a new shooter and it should be a sequel to NAM. That would be a great game if Playmore did it like the original but with a lot more features an more levels.

I have mentioned this a few times. I think they should try to come out with something besides fighters and Metal Slugs. I like these games but it gets old when every new game is a fighter. The newer games have great graphics and I believe there is potential for great new styles of games. If they plan on using the same hardware they should sit back and brainstorm and come up with new ideas.

Yes, I would like to see a new platformer or a Final Fight style Beat-Um up.

Maybe a sequel to Blue's Journey.

Or a puzzle game other then Puzzle Bobble, I'm so sick of seeing that game in every MVS I see.

Samurai Spirits RPG 2. Then after, another huge RPG called simply: "Southtown"

Southtown New York is the center of the SNK universe. Talk about a massive game! Make it a MMORPG so that you can train in a kyokugen dojo, face gangs, work for Geese, and the best players on the servers get invited to KOF once a year to compete for a real prize.

mmmm Dreams...

yes. something other than a fighter, & other than a shooter or standard puzzler. Arcades are so desolate in innovation. The first dance game was innovative, so was the jeep animal-lassoing game.. but those are far, far in between.

xtoo_short20x anyone agree?
yes, i do. :D
i'd really like to see a new shooter, some platformers ala spinmaster or top hunter, something like california games or a racing game.

fighters are boring, if you don't have any friends, who are into gaming. frown
