The contract of SNK with Eolith was it for one year or for 6 years I can't remember. I'm sure I've heard six somewhere but I haven't had the luck to find anything on the net or here. Does anybody know?

I wanna add a question here... What games has Eolith made other than KoF01 and 02?

I saw an eolith coin machine one time in england...

That's all I know from them beside the 2 crappy KOF.

I didn't think 01 was that bad... sure the backgrounds were lacking, and other graphics were questionable, but the game played great... I had a lot of fun with it. I even dig some of the music, like the Japan teams farty synth bass.

Didn't Eolith make a game for the Neo Geo a long time ago?

Either way, I don't think it's that much of a loss after playing 2001

2001 is NOT crappy. Ok, I agree with that if you're out for five minutes of fun every now and then you will most certanly not enjoy 2001. If you're in it for gameplay then I'd say it's the best KoF I've played so far (haven't gotten 2002 yet, but I'll get that too eventually).

I just can't stand a game with such "musics".

No matter how good gameplay is.

2002 has very good gameplay and an ALL-STAR roster.. The sprite edits left me traumatized because I compared 98 and 2002 side-by side but I plan on getting 2002 back very soon..
Eolith did an excellent job with Takuma.
His style of fighting really fits him now. The Takuma from previous KOF's is Mr.Karate minus the mask...I hate to see himm in previous KOF's with those moves and NO mask..I thought it was the mask that possessed him, then once he removes it you get the 2002 fighting style.
