Nervous Trading

Does anyone else get nervous when they are making a trade over the internet with someone they dont even know?

I always get really worried that they might not pay me and keep the games (or whatever is being sold).

I would never dream of ripping someone off, but it amazes me at the nerve of some people that do.

thanks

Always tell the seller to use trackable/insured shipping, and pay with paypal if possible. If you use a money order, save the receipt. If worse comes to worse, look at the small claims court post on the top of the page. Buying from reputable sellers is your best bet. Just make a post in the forums asking whether a seller is honest or not and usually you will get a reply pretty quick. Gotta watch out for bootleg carts also, as they are inferior, and if they don't have problems, they can develop them further down the road.

The above types of activities should be donw with people who live in neighboring states that you would'nt have a problem trekking to if something should go wrong .

as possible when dealing with people treating them
well and everything should go fine.

This is kind of off topic but when you make a trade. I mean trade like goods for goods instead of money for goods.

Who sends their goods first?

I always wondered about this as I have never done an online trade.

The usual thing to do when trading is after you are both reasonably satisfied with each others references, both parties should send the items at the same time; However, if one of the people can be vouched for by many people and the other is a "noob", then normally the new guy will send first, once the other person receives the items he sends his part of the trade. The best thing to do is to make sure you get references for the other person, not just eBay, if possible.

the best thing to do is find the most reliable people on the forum.
ask folks who they are. there are lots and lots of respectable folks on here that are true gamers.
so just do what every one is telling ya, and ya should be ok. good luck!
