can someone explain this tracking info to me?

This is an item coming from Canada to California that I got on ebay. I talked with the guy and he said if the item (mv-1fz) was lost or something, that he has another one he could send me. He has been totally cool, coms have been excellent and he has great feedback... so I am not really worried..

..but I still don't get what the hell happend to my package....can someone tell me why a package made it into the US and then was attempted to be delivered back in Canada?

Could be that the address was written incorrectly on the package, so they looked at the return address and... attempted to return it.

That's only a guess though.

Maybe it didn't have the right amount of postage and was returned because of that? I've had regular letters make it almost all the way to the Post Office in the area where I was sending it, only to have the wrong amount of postage on it and have it returned. Weird.

I'd get the seller to check at the post office and see if they have the package, and also ask why it was returned.

Just realized it was intra-canada.

All I can suggest is that you call the delivery company asap. Sometimes they are sloppy and do not leave notices.

it was delivered via "canada express post", but hey, at least someone is trying to help! Why can't everyone be as reliable as when ordering from <a href="http://www.mad-gear.com" target="_blank">www.mad-gear.com</a> wink

oh, and I have ordered from you before and everything was great! Maybe it's dealing with people like you that gets me so pissed when I order from others and things don't go right...

EDIT: yeah, I talked with the guy and he said if it got lost then it would be replaced and another item would be sent. He said he will contact canada post on Monday when they open..

Everything is closed up for the weekend..but..

THANKS TO THOSE WHO GAVE ME IDEAS!! I really was worried and to know that there could be actual reasons besides me getting burned, that this happend....helps put my mind at ease!

I have hade a few problems with the mail poeple not leaving me notices..

its fustrating and i hate it...
best thing to do is contact the delevery company
like 16-bit said, ask them about the delevery
statis etc.... and hope for the best...

^^yeah, that's pretty much the plan...

I really don't think he came to my house though, because people were home all day yesterday and I sure as hell was keeping an eye out while I was home. I also think Canada post comes in the regular mail and I stalking the mailman at 3pm every day,lol!

Just wait and see...that seems like the plan frown
