I recently ran 3 auctions on eBay and may need to relist 2 of them due to deadbeat bidders. My question is how long would some of you guys wait before relisting? It has been about a week since the auctions closed, both were won by different bidders and BuyItNow was used. I have had no reponse from numerous emails and obviously no payment, Now I would just like to relist these and get them sold. I don't see why I should wait more than a week or 10 days at most unless I get an email from the buyer. Let me know what you guys think.

I say if they the buyer don't give you any repsonse or payment within 10 days or so, say "Fuck 'em" and relist the item. You want to give them bout 10 days because sometimes if the person is paying by money order, it can take awhile to get there. But, usually the person e-mails you and tells you what he is using the pay for the item.

I jus' play the Neo Geo roms of the games I don't have. But, I when I do get the money I do get the game off Ebay or wherever I can find for a reasonable price.

I've been in your situation man, I know how you feel. The first time I had it happen I made a point to put all future auctions with the following:

"After the auction the buyer must contact me within 24 hours with their shipping address/shipping preference and payment information. I will then respond with your total and payment is expected within 5 business days. If they do not respond within 24 hours and/or the payment isn't received within 5 business days, the auction will be relisted and negative feedback will be left along with a NPB being filed. Thanks for your understanding."

Ever since then I only had 2 people do it on me, and I didn't feel bad about leaving them negative feedback in the least. Clearly stated in the auction :) As for your situation, a week is more than enough. When filing a NPB, I think they say wait 5 days and if nothing they will contact them for you to urge them to pay, and if they still don't, they're fucked.

Playing roms has something to do with using ebay?

Wow, I understand your logic NOW too short.
