AES Price Question

I have finally decided to buy an AES system, but am slightly confused over, what to look for, and what price i should be paying. The games are fine its the systems it,s self. What is the difference between a gold and silver system? What price should i be looking to pay? any advise would be appreciated.

To understand what the gold system is take alook at the Glossary on the menu.

Secondly if you want an AES there are a couple of things (correct me if I am wrong guys n girls):
1. The jap/us and euro systems are all compatable with AES games from any of the other zones

ie. Jap game on us system

2. The jap AES system will display more gore/blood in games than the other systems.

3. Also the usual text differences. Someone else can update you on this!

Finally I just picked up an AES system (with controller/plug/av con/memory card) with Samurai showdown and Fatal Fury Special for $120. Also got a scart lead for 11 pounds of a different seller on Ebay. Don't pay more than $200 with a stash of games, you will probably end up buying from the far east too so include around $100 for delivery.
