I know little to nothing about arcade cabinets, but I was looking into buying one from arcade infinity. The ones that caught my eye were the:

SNK MVS 25 Jamma Cabinet

and

SNK Super Neo 29 Candy Jamma Cabinet

Now I was wondering if anyone could give me some general information about these cabinets and I would also like to hear from someone who actually owns or has played on one. Thanks for any help.

well you can look at www.hardmvs.com for some general info on MVS cabinets and boards.

Do lots of digging through the forums and you will probably find your answers.

I bought my candy from arcade-infinity and they are great to deal with and sell top notch japanese cabs.

Candy cabinets are generally shorter and lighter than the american cabinets , they use different buttons , they are flat or convex instead of concave like the american cabs.

Also they are sitdown cabs where as the american cabs you stand and play.

Much more comfortable for long periods of play in my opinion, button wise also.

The 29's tend to look a bit more pixelated than the smaller monitors , so they arent as sharp.

I prefer 25 or smaller , but if you want big then go 29 or bigger.

You will need to buy a mother board also , look at hard mvs to see the differences.

MD Game sales is a good place to get one , or ebay in generall or maybe someone here might have one ?

They run anywhere from 100-200+ depending on what they are.

just root around here and you will find your answers , these questions get asked all the time.

good luck !

There really is nothing like the NEO in MVS form !
