Japanese for me, please! I love the artwork, and it's usually cheaper as well. Plus, I love the spines on them all lined up... :D

JAP JAP JAP!

Looks wayyyy better on the shelf, only bad thing is that you don't have the megcount on the spine (they do look ugly though) :(

I prefer English cart spines and Jp covers and backs. The front and back of Jp carts almost always looks much better. However, since the Jp spines look so abysmally bad, I prefer English carts.

I should mention, however, I buy primarily MVS carts and only get Home Carts of my favorites, or any new releases.

That is because, for some games, english versions are rarer, but this applies almost exclusively to the north american market... In most countries worldwide and especially in Europe, japanese carts are definitely more sought-after...

I prefer JAP carts/CDs, but not at any cost.

I live in Europe, but I avoid buying Euro versions; I HATE PAL!

I prefer English versions because they are more rare than Japanese versions!

I don't mind either.

Although I reckon I'll be getting the English Kof 2k1 though :)

But I'd buy that Japenese Last Blade of you Wilson - cheers ;)

Another problem with the Euro/U.S. carts is that you can't have a complete collection... :p

The Japanese versions kick. I'll take the screenshot over the meg count any day. Plus, the wide variety of Japanese spines command more attention; the U.S. versions are too uniform, and the meg counts don't look that impressive anymore. The screenshots tell the story better.

I recently decided that every home cart I buy from now on will be JPN. The packaging looks at least twice as good as the US packaging and the games are cheaper. Plus my console is JPN, so there is a nice match up going on there. In fact, I can't think of a good reason to persuede me to buy a US cart over a JPN one... but then again I don't buy games to invest. I don't care if one version is rarer or more expensive than another.

Most of the titles I prefer Japan version except for the KOF series.
The KOF series looks more uniform at the spine when they are keep on the shelf. See for yourself if you don't believe.

Anyone got a kof 2000 insert to spare? ;)
