It depends how many people I feel like beating with my opening character.

3 vs 3 is the original KOF spirit, so I prefer it. In KOF01 I never use 4 fighters; I normally use 2 fighters & 2 strikers. Loads of fun with 2 strikers!

1-on-1...period.

Just be sure to bring two other guys along in case your opponent starts talkin' smack...

3v3! I hate it when some panzy goes and picks a 4 man team and not going the way it should be!

4 vs 4 :

if they had added one more power stock in 2001 (example: 3 players 1 striker = 3 power stocks) tyey would make the best system ever

6 vs 6 is a good idea

I never use 4 people on a team in 2001 usually 1 or 2 3 if I like the characters and actually use them well.

I gotta admit; I was getting used to 4-on-4. Not the strikers, though. Still, it showed that KOF was evolving.

4 vs 4's saving trait was no Striker usage.

Now if you could do slightly more damage with it...

I've even tried using four man teams more recently.

I prefer having an extra man than a useless Striker anyday.

...Even won a few boss matches with a 4 man team.

A true challenge considering the crap damage you deal and receive.

Hol' up, now! If it's a question of skillz, I'll take one-on-one, anyday! I'm just saying, 4-on-4 made KOF look like it was going somewhere!

i do like 3 on 3 but i was starting to get used to 4 on 4. I was a little dissapointed with it being 3 on 3 again this year but hey ney mind! I really liked it in 2k1 when you choose either 4 players or 3 players and a striker that was a good idea! :)

3 on 3. But with the ability of being able to switch the 4th chatacter between combats ( not rounds ). Like KOF99, but without being a striker, just like an "outsider".

That panzy, dear sir, is me. I LOVE mopping the floor with someone with a four man team of death (Iori, K', Lin and Takuma) when some joker picks just Kyo and three strikers. MWAHAHAHAHAHA!

*ahem*

So, I'll go four on four for the new ones. More characters logically equals more spaces open for them. It makes more sense in KOF 94 when it had like half the roster!

3 on 3.Its the way its meant to be played.

As for 4 on 4, kof 2k1 allowed that at the expense of your fighters taking huge damage and delivering little damage.I hate the CvS style ratio system KOF 2k1 implemented.KOF 2k1 is still a great game.
