two big questions!!!! this will be my first neo geo system; is the silver [s-video] system rec'd?????

and; KOF2001 Jap or US?!?!?!?!

a Silver-NG-System will be more than enough...
You should update these Neo, with an S-Video-Out, Stereo-Out, and the MVS-Debug-Bios...
There is just one more thing, maybe you´ll buy a few classic games like AoF and AoF²...and in addition KoF2001.

is there a problem with the Silver system and AOF or KOF2k1? The way he wrote it, seemed like there may be.

He means that you should have your neo upgraded to a sc. "super system". With a BIOS that allows you to "feign arcade". I don't have one but I'll do it soon...er or later <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

And not to forget...

What he basically is saying is that he's hoping that you wont just see KoF2001, because the neo world is chuck full of great games, and if you set KoF2001 as your standard then you won't be able to see the beauty of other kickass series such as... Art of Fighting, Fatal Fury and so forth. And don't forget my favorite... KoF'99. Oh and Last Blade 1 & 2. A must have... As you can see you have a lot of spending to do. Start saving <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">.
