First, I AM NOT A COLLECTOR. That being said... I was wondering if there was a point in having Magical drop II if you have Magical drop III? Is there a point in having Puzzle bobble if you have Puzzle bobble again? Was it just improvements or was something left behind? Im wanting to get magical drop III since I LOVE drop II, but will have to sell my #2 in order to get #3. Educated thoughts?

PS: was there a magical drop 1?

Fromthe fact that you stated magical drop 2 and 3 first, im going to assume your an AES owner, like myself.

Now, this may upset a few people, but there are some things that have to be said. Why the hell do puzzle game players get the bum deal with the AES? Do we not deserve puzzle bobble 1 and 2, neo bomberman, panic bomber, neo mr do, either of the puzzle de pon games, pop n bounce or money puzzle exchanger? Its only when you realise just how many of the unreleased AES titles are puzzle games, that it sinks in. Even the ones that are available are hard to find and never at a reasonable price.

I dont want a phantom convertor, simple. So what options does this leave people? Cough fucking cough! I love puzzle games a lot, so cough cough was the only to get them!

These could easily have been given a home release, but neo puzzle games (unless ive missed it) dont even have a symbo indicating they are puzzle games! You know, like the ones found on fighter and shooters to indicate the genre. I doubt we will see any puzzle games for the neo anytime soon.

I know this really doesnt help your question, but its the first post ive seen regarding puzzle games in a while, and needed to get that of my chest.

BTW, magical drop1 is a jamma board.

I was actually speaking MVS, but still agree 100% on the AES guys gettin' jacked aspect. Also your right, you totally DID NOT answer my question, but we gotta vent, right? Thanks for the magical drop 1 answer though. NEXT? You sir, in the blue shirt...

I have both MD 2 and MD 3. It is worth it to trade 2 in for 3. Although I like having both, given a choice I would take 3.

The major difference between the two is MD3 looks alot better, cleaner presentation. In MD3 you can pick special balloons up with regular ones of the same color, in MD2 you cannot.

My advice: Keep MD2, but also get MD3!! Its by far and away one of the best ever puzzle games on any system in the world!!!

If you like playing this style of game 2-player, then I would strongly recommend "Money Idol Exchanger". I know its hard to find, but try the selling forums, or Ebay in Korea - it always pops up there!

My top tips for Puzzle Lovers:

1.magical drop 3 = 10/10
2.money idol exchanger = 10/10
3.magical drop 2 = 9/10
4.bust a move again ex = 9/10
5. gururin = 7/10
6.pop n bounce = 7/10
7.puzzle de pon r = 6/10
8.panic bomber = 5/10
9.puzzle de pon = 5/10
10.puzzle bobble = 5/10
11. puzzled = 3/10

Dont forget Pochi to Nya coming soon to mvs! loco

Not much for me to add except you should get pb1 if you like 2 player puzzle games. I think PB1's versus mode is the best of all the bustamove clones. PB2 has a nice puzzle mode.

I have MD3 but no plans on adding MD2
