I found this picture in the collections section of this site:
<a href="http://www.neo-geo.com/gallery/collections/RonStocks/2.JPG" target="_blank">http://www.neo-geo.com/gallery/collections/RonStocks/2.JPG</a>
Is this what RGB does to your picture? I have never seen a Neo-Geo produce a picture this good.

I am used to picture quality of this kind....well,i have SCART... :D
Well, even with scart, the colors whould not shimmer that way on a traditional tube. I think that is either an LCD HDTV, or a DLP HDTV.

I dont like it. It looks too smooth almost artificial. And colors look like they have a puke green tone. Eeeww. Also marco looks expanded widened. Probably to fit the widescreen. Yuck.

Damn! If I'm not mistaken, that a Samsung HLN-series DLP television!

I have one of those! :)

I agree. The colors are too yellow, and with DLP, you have a certain angle of viewing to deal with, albiet a greater angle of viewing than a RPTV, but still an angle to deal with. Tryin playing the game sitting to the side and see how it looks. I would always either stick to RGB monitors or Direct View TVs..until some of the newer Plasma, DLP, etc. technology improves a bit.

Not to spam, but there is a great forum for Home theatre setup, config, reviews, etc. It's at <a href="http://www.hometheaterspot.com/html/index.php" target="_blank">http://www.hometheaterspot.com/html/index.php</a>

you americans and your shitty s-video! muwhahahahaha.
At least we dont get borders in games :)
Neither do we.

NTSC RGB scart on European TV is just a basic here.
For PS2-games maybe.

For others i wouldn´t settle for any less then PAL60 with RGB which ladys and gentlemen are the ultimate display option!

PAL gives us higher resulution, 60hz full screen and speed and there is no sign of the murky NTSC-colors. drool_2

That picture looks shit

You would get a much better picture through a bog standard sony tv from the last 10 years through scart.

That looks like it's being run through a dodgy RF from a pc running an emulator with 2Xsai picture rendering enabled lol
