Do you actually play the game or do sleep on it ?
On Mvs mode I don't know, but at least in Normal mode I can beat it in one life.
Yeah... I know I had to start in Easy mode, but with time you become a master of the game.

It takes me like 3 credits and theyre all used on the final level :/
anyway onto you...
If its your first time playing it or even better playing a slug then its certainly understandable.
But if not...dear god oh_no

Well at least we know Metal Slug is doing its quarter munching job in the arcade wink
Really though like most other Slugs I do fine until the 5th mission, 4th mission in 3, then the last mission destroys my credit count. I think personal best is high teens...

It was my first time playing an MS. I didn't lose a credit until third stage tho 
Yeah, I stopped paying attention, by the last level, people were crowding around the machine and kinda cheering me on. The arcade stayed open an extra half hour. I was out of there at 11:30 pm
Some of the credits were from the begining when my friend started playing, but he quit, so I had to play a 2 person game alone

Dude, 53 credits = $28 in quarters or $56 if its 50 cents a credit. 53 credits is really poor and I didn't have to play my homecart 10+ times to beat it on 5 credits.NeoEsZ:
