Power Supply for Neo Geo

I have a PAL Neo Geo - unfortuantely it came without the original Power Supply unit. On the manual it came with it says the unit needs 9Volts. How many amps does it need so i can find a suitable Power Supply?

I don't think that a power supply can change the amps. Amps are standard in the country tou are in (I guess). In USA it is 15 amps, don't know about other countries. I think Power supplies only regulate the voltage.

Ummm no... I have many different Power supplies here... there is one which is 250 mAmps, I have a 500 mAmps too... and somewhere i have a 1000 mA but I do not want to use it with my Neo Geo as it does not show what polarity it comes with.

it clearly shows that it is a 3Amp power supply. The manual that comes with my NeoGeo says its needs 9v but it doesnt specify amount of amperage needed.

Have you tried searching for an international power supply/outlet converter to attain the desired apms/wattage?
