I've been busting ass on the KoF "boxed set" inserts for a few weeks now. I just finished 97, with 94, 95 and 96 already done. I have great source material (scanned images from Gamest Mook issues) and everything looks nice. One problem - I did them on an old style AES case template ARGH!!!!
So, this puts me back a few days.

Anyway can anyone recommend a good art book for KoF 2000? I can't seem to find any. Also, who do you think should represent KoF 2000, sort of as the main character? I'm putting K' on 99 already.

Let me ask another question.

Does anyone know of a better/cheaper place to get these Japanese publications like Gamest Mook? Videogameya on eBay has a lot of great stuff for sale, but the prices are kind of high. If I don't buy a bunch at once I get my ass kicked in by shipping.

I'd say K' again, sdince he is the hero and focus of the series now. If not him, then Terry.

I suggest Zero. Mainly because of Project'00 and the Zero Cannon. Plus, the guy took a direct blast from a mega cannon. That takes serious kiwis.

Or Kula. Either way.

Terry's already in. He's on 97. It's going: Kyo, Iori, Geese, Terry, Ryo, K', ???
These are just the spines, I've got enough artwork that almost everyone's favorite can be represented somewhere

But not Bao

Billy Kane. Always a safe bet.

Seriously, I'd think about Seth or Vanessa, since they were kind of... sub-heroes, I'd guess you'd say. Or Benjimaru, seeing as he's been trying to steal the spotlight in Kyo's absence.

Or Billy Kane.

Yeah, maybe they should make Beni the hero of the next story-based one. But they'd need a rival for him, someone who is his opposite.

He's a somewhat effeminate male, so he would need a masculine-acting female (tomboy) as a rival.

Hmm...
King: Don't even think about it!
Me: Sorry ^_^'

I'd say Kula. She's the anti-K and this series really has been about K, so...

Kula it is. I'm bidding on the SNK Gals Art Book so hopefully it'll have some nice pics when it comes in. Also, I picked up Nick's MVS case template and things are back on track.
Thanks everyone.
