I'm kinda new to this writing thing...tried an idea similar to this with Toshinden awhile back.
To any non-wrestling fans:
In "hardcore" matches, anything short of killing your opponent is legal.
Rhyno's finishing move, The Gore, is a simple tackle, except he puts more power into it.
And the reference to a guy named Sid at the end...ask me and I'll explain it on here.
Things hadn't been going too well for Rhyno, as he had lost the Hardcore Championship to the Big Show and been beating various nobodies in matches that meant nothing. Now, he had just heard that he would fight a hardcore match against some new guy tonight. He had figured this was a sign he was being moved down the WWF food chain even further...
He had seen the new guy, who didn't seem to want to talk at all. "Oh great, another crazy," he thought to himself. "And where the hell did he come from anyway? Guess I'll have to make a match of it."
"The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is a hardcore match." said the ring announcer, Lilian Garcia. Some generic metal music started playing as Garcia announced, "First, coming to the ring, weighing in at 250 pounds, RHYNO!" Rhyno did his usual entrance, just walking to the ring and showing no real emotion. He waited in the ring for a few seconds, then Garcia said, "And his opponent..." and wouldn't have time to say any more, as the new guy, an extremely tall man with blonde hair, ran to the ring even before any music could be played.
Immediately, he started punching Rhyno repeatedly and then slammed his face into the corner, stunning him a bit. The man used this time to run outside and grab a garbage can from underneath the ring. He carried it back into the ring, where Rhyno instantly booted the can into him, hurting him a bit. Rhyno noticed that the man seemed to have a look of glee on his face after that hit, but forgot about it and went back on the offensive with punches. After stunning him enough, he picked up the garbage can and hit him over the head with it, drawing an "Ooh!" from the crowd. He tossed him outside the ring, then followed him. Rhyno, sensing something different about this guy, decided he should try to finish him off as soon as possible.
He looked under the ring, pulled out a steel chair, and started hitting the man over the head repeatedly with it. The blows became increasingly harder, and even the fans were starting to wince. However, even after 10 hits, the man didn't seem to feel any pain. He did not get up, though.
Thinking he should just go for his finisher right now, Rhyno discarded the chair and pulled a wooden table out from under the ring. He carried it into the ring and set it up diagonally on one of the ring's corners. He walked back out and dragged the opponent, still down, into the ring and placed him in front of the table. He walked to the corner opposite the one with the table and crouched slightly. The fans started cheering, as they knew that this meant he was about to do the Gore. He ran toward the man as the cheering escalated...but the man had been playing dead the whole time, as he grabbed Rhyno out of his move, and gave him a headbutt that sent him three-fourths of the way across the ring. The crowd was hushed by that sequence.
Rhyno eventually rose, but was dazed. The man started dangling his arm with an evil grin on his face, saying, "Ikuza...ikuza...IKUZA!". However, before he could execute anything, Rhyno revived and immediately hit the Gore on him. He attempted to pin him as the crowd started cheering again. The referee counted, "1...2..." and the man threw him off. The crowd was even more in disbelief of that event than it was at the headbutt...
Rhyno was even more shocked that the guy hadn't been beaten with his finisher. He did notice that he was very stunned now, and placed him in front of the table again. Once again, he walked to the opposite corner and crouched. The fans started chanting, "GORE! GORE! GORE!", and he started his run.
Rhyno was almost positive he would hit the move this time. As he was in the tackling position, he suddenly thought, "Oh shit!" It was too late, as the man rose again, only this time he grabbed Rhyno by the neck with his left arm and walked to the opposite corner.
He gave Rhyno an uppercut that sended him to the floor, and started growling with a truly insane look on his face. Then, he picked Rhyno up with his right arm and slammed his face into the mat. He did it again, and again, and again, slamming his face in at an increasing pace and laughing heartily. After some 16 face slams, he gave Rhyno another headbutt, then he sent a wave of energy from his hand that looked like a drill. It sent Rhyno flying all the way into the table, which broke in two. The crowd started chanting, "HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!" as the man dragged Rhyno out of the corner and put one foot on his chest. The referee counted, "1...2...3!"
"Your winner," announced Garcia, "RYUJI YAMAZAKI!" The "HOLY SHIT!" chant was picking up even more.
WWF owner Vince McMahon and his son Shane watched the matched on TV and were as shocked as everybody else.
"Shane...you know what I'm seeing in my eyes right now?"
"Dollar signs, right?"
<large grin> "Yup."
"He seems like...a bit of a head case, though."
"Hell, he can't be any worse than Sid was!"
The two started chuckling together, as the "HOLY SHIT!" chants could still be heard on the TV...
Well, how was that for any of ya?
