What's yours?

I would say, probably, J. Carn's theme from World Heroes 2: Mongolian Dynamite. I'm not sure which I prefer of the orignal and arranged versions, but both are truly stellar! That series had some fabulous tunes, one must admit, so what of them do you like most?

ADK produced some of the best fighting game tunes ever. I loved almost all of them. Part 2 and Perfect has the best shit.

Part 2....

-Hanzou's stage
-Mudman's stage
-Dragon's stage (really terrific!)
-Character selection screen
etc.

Perfect
-Ice Age
-Genesis
-Jurassic
-Stone Age
-Genrok Period
-The Period
etc.

And what's more, ADK had really cool voiceovers. The death cries of all the characters were deep, believable, and well recorded. The verbal taunts were good too. "ORA!!" <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

even though it was the same tune all the time, I REALLY liked the Death Match music in World Heroes 1. It got really cool near the end of the loop.

Mine is World Heroes Perfect, the Genesis stage on home cart and MVS, but not on CD and emulator, on emulator the music is totally ruined.

I like the character selection screen music on WH2 and the title screen music on WH2.

One reason why I started this topic, and why I like the series's music so much, is because of the variety. Having characters from all over the globe, from various chapters of history, makes for all kinds of super music, which the ADK Sound Factory scored masterfully. It's not all classical Japanese like sword fighters, not all modern like a KoF game, not all anything. If you ask me World Heroes 2 easily has the best soundtrack of the series. Apart from being just the largest, it was designed to fit the differing eras of each character. I still so love Erik's stage. That icy Norwegian ship setting sail on the path to discovery, back in the 990's. And Fuuma's war drum music... gets your blood boiling! All of it was tops though.

Also, the vocal version of the Modern Era's theme from WHP is out of this world. I know that's over-rating it, but I love it!
