Super Dodge Ball /Technos

Now here's another thread instigator: Super Dodge Ball. Way back to the days of Sony imagesofts/Technos' version for the Nintendo was an immortal winner. To this day, I play this game whenever I get the chance and still LOVE IT. It is an immortal all time LEGEND!

The Neo version is even better than NES, if that were possible. It should have been a felony for SNK/Technos when they didn't put this on cart. I bet if Technos hadn't gone bankrupt, we would've had SDB on cart/CD.

I swore one day I would get this game in some version, ANY version besides the ROMS. I don't even care if I'd have to get a converted cart of it. I'd come crawling on my knees to NGF if I had to.

I mean, how can you go wrong with games like these?
River City Ransom
Super Dodge Ball
Double Dragon series
Combatribes
Crash 'n' the Boyz Street Challenge
(Did the hockey one ever come out?)

Man, If I were a billionaire like Bill Gates or something, I would've sunk a few million to keep this company alive, continuing to produce great games!

I guess you know you're a hardcore gamer when your favorite co's go bankrupt!! 8-O

Amen brother. Technos will surely be missed. No, Crash and the Boys Ice Challenge never came out. If it did, I would own it, because I own EVERY U.S. Technos NES cart there is. Part of the reason I want a Geo is Technos games (Super Dodge Ball, Double Dragon, Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer). Here's a handy list for fans of every U.S. cart release I know of by Technos, the kings of beat-'em-ups.
NES
Double Dragon 1-3 (licensed to Tradewest and Acclaim)
River City Ransom
Super Dodge Ball (licensed to Imagesoft)
Crash and the Boys Street Challenge
Superspike V'Ball (licensed to Nintendo)
World Cup Soccer (licensed to Nintendo)
Superspike V'Ball and World Cup Soccer (on one cart)
Renegade (licensed to Taito)
SNES
Super Double Dragon
Double Dragon 5
The Combatribes
Super Bowling
Genesis
Double Dragon
Double Dragon 3
Double Dragon 5
Game Boy
Double Dragon 1-3
World Cup Soccer
There are also versions of Double Dragon for Atari 2600, 7800, Lynx, Game Gear, and Sega Master System...
Technos' main character, Kunio (

) was named after their president.
Check these games out, you won't regret it.

LONG LIVE THE TECHNOS JAPAN UNDERGROUND!!!

There was several Kunio games on the PC-Engine/TG-16. There was a dodgeball and soccer game for sure, and i am not sure if others were made. They are somewhat rare but go for a decent price. Check em out. PC-Engine was far better than the famicom.

There was also a computer version of Double Dragon long ago, back in the days of 5.¼" diskettes. It even looked arcade perfect at the time, from what I can recall.
