Ok, with all of this talk about CvSPro I decided to pull out my CvS and give it another go. For some reason I can't seem to get any DM/SDM combo's to work. I can do a simple 3 hit combo ending in a special move but as far as a super, no go. Does anybody use the DC contoller, I've tried using the analog and the digital control but i always get the same results. Maybe i'll break out my saturn controller and give it a go.

Are any arcade sticks for home systems any good? I was thinking about getting the agetec arcade stick (that's the grey and green one right?) for dreamcast.

Most arcade sticks feel like crap and they make this annoying clikcing sound. Does anyone know of a stick that's close to a MVS or a Capcom stick on one of thier many arcade machines?

I've had no problems with my Dreamcast controller. It took a little while to get used to but after beating the game with all the characters in KOF 98. KOF 99, SF III, SF Alpha III, Last Blade 2, Guilty Gear X, Rival Schools II PJ, Soul Caliber, UFC, Power Stone, Capcom vs. SNK,DOA 2 (which sux) etc. and of course having tons of friends over to play against as well I managed. I had friends that needed to use thier crappy fighting pads with a certain set up so every time we switched (if there was several people over my house) it was a big pain in the ass.

Is it really that hard to do things with it?

Joysticks for the DC is the way to go. For some reason the controllers on the DC suck for fighting games. I don't mind using controllers for fighting games on the PS, Saturn, and SNES but for the DC it just plain sucks.

It took me a while to get used to but now I'm fine on the DC controller. Now my problem is when I go to an arcade I get my ass kicked by shit that would never have worked on me in my own home. I struggle to get out the most simple shit. I always need a few games to get used to a joystick again. Then I get used to it and start to win. If I could plug my DC controller into an MVS and play that way I'd rule (U can do this in some Japanese capcom games like Capcom vs, SNK and Marvel vs. Capcom 2)

I guess I'm better off getting a joystick for my DC so I won't have to adjust at all. What's the best stick for the Dreamcast? Is it the Agetec stick. I saw it for 55 at Jand L in China town here in NY can anyone find out about a better price. It would really help my ass out. Thanx.

p.s. this is the one you all suggest right?

Do any of you guys know of or like these arcade sticks for Dreamcast?

The Interact Alloy arcade stick

The Blaze Dreamcast twinstick

This looks like something I would use with my girl friend who's into games (she has more Neo stuff than me) I can't see myself using this with my homeboyz. It's just a little to close for comfort.

Nooo!!! don't even bother to buy the alloy arcade stick! it feels very stiff and its hard to pull of difficule moves.it does look nice but its a crap in disguise.stick with the agetec joystick.the twin joystick is not bad.

The AgeTec stick is great. The only complaint I have is that X and A are placed slightly lower than the other 4 buttons.

I like the clicking. I see it as an aid to know exactly where to move the stick for the diagonal motions.

That Alloy stick is nice... looking. I wanted to get it through Capcom Edge (I have over 200 points), but I was told that it was out of stock! It looks nice though. Thank you for reminding me, I'm going to have to look into this again.

Thanks for the info! Vert stiff you say? Like the Saturn Virtua Stick? The V. Stick isn't bad overall... but additionally, the buttons are concave DOWN. What was Sega thinking?? At least it has a good 3-on-3 layout.

How much does the Blaze one go for? Looks very nice. I have a official Sega one which is just brilliant... two player fights with one of those would be cool though.
