cvs good or bad post why

bad because the game play is crap and everyones moves from snk are missing. i played cvs pro and they fucked joe all up. i didnt bother to play with dan or any one else.

Good because its a fucking great game and keeps me amused so im not complaining..plus i prefer alot of the capcom characters than the snk ones <IMG SRC="smilies/makeface.gif" border="0">

Not too bad. Its fun to play with friends at home or challenge in arcades. However, I dislike playing against the cpu, its way too easy...and really boring...

The original CvS is not a *bad* game per se (cause there's a LOT worse out there), but it's definitely not great. There are too many things about the game that piss me off, like the overpowered rolls, overpowered jabs & shorts, the insanely fast sweeps, stupid combos like sweep -> super, braindead easy links, the stupid rigid ratio system, not to mention the lousy 4 button scheme that fucks up half the cast (namely the Capcom cast; most SNK fans don't realise that the Capcom crew suffer in CvS as well). I really hated the game at first, but it has grown on me, despite its innumerable flaws. But I can only play it at home - I refuse to play it in the arcade, since at home I can a) select my ratios how I want and b) turn running on.

Fortunately, CvS2 looks like it will fix all of these things. And the SNK characters get more complete arsenals and more normals to play with. Now, hopefully we'll get some more characters (though I doubt it we'll see more than 2), and it should be magnificent. It could also use a tougher CPU (since the first one was pretty mindless), but that's just nitpicking.

BTW, Joe is a lot better in CvS2.

its a fun game and PRO is what the original should have been in the first place.

Good, because this game, although flawed, is still a DREAM in concept for those who apprectiate the work of both companies!

The good: SNK and Capcom fighters finally get to go head to head outside of a portable console.

The bad: Too many characters from SF2. As I've said before, Capcom shows too much favoritism to the SF2 cast. I haven't played a vs game yet that's proven me wrong.

A great game. Although some fighters (Especially Kyo) Lost a lot of moves, its still cool. Pro is much better though, It just feels so balanced.
