CvS2 update (sort of)

Check out Madman's Cafe - they have a report on the beta-testing for CvS2. Some of the more interesting tidbits:

- Custom Combos (SFZ2 style) are supposed to be available in Capcoms A groove.
- Chang and Choi fight together. Seems Choi is essentially Chang sidekick and acts similar to Galford's dog from the SS series. Cool...... <IMG SRC="smilies/cool.gif" border="0">
- Dan and Joe are in CvS2.
- Alex was spotted in a background so it doesn't look good for him showing as a playable character <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0"> .
- Some of the character selection screen cursor positions have switched (possibly ruining some of Rugal3:16's rival pairing...).

All of these things have been reported by fans who played the beta so who knows how true any of this is. Still, it's interesting.

I don't believe for a second that Kyo is weak.. sure his Oniyaki is weaker but well DON'T DEPEND on it. he's got the dokugami chain and (look at the bright side) in KOF Kyo didn't fepend that much on an anti-air as much as the shotos would have. his game is all presuure, and The N-groove can provide him that.

i still wonder how is iori.

Custom Combos return. I knew Capcom couldn't abandoned that garbage. My expectations for this game just took a serious nose dive. Me thinks I better read up on all these grooves. I know it's highly unlikely but is there a groove that resembles the Vampire system (Restricted chain combos, Guard reversals, ES specials, etc.) by chance?
