ROLL SUX?!?

yeah as mentioned in other sites, rolling sux, you can get swept out of it or hit by GROUND projectiles...

IMO, maybe this is for the zero 3 groove, (c-groove) while the advance mode (n-groove) will have invincible roll.. hhehh? .. whaddaya guys think?

btw the percentage acquired damage from a type of groove is really lame. (if its true)

sigh... you're damn right. Roll does suck not only in Marvel vs. Capcom, but in Marvel vs. Capcom 2 as well. she's also the weakest character ever (even weaker than Servbot). I'm glad she's not going to be included in Capcom vs. SNK 2... EVER!

i kinda like her theme song in the PS version of Marvel vs. Capcom though...

damn,in CVS2 the rolling have been weakened.now i can't roll under projectiles and suprise attack cheesers such as ryu and akuma.i always rely on rolling to win a game. <IMG SRC="smilies/veryangry.gif" border="0">

Roll has an awesome throw range though.... A good Roll player can take out Zangief because of her insane Grab range..... Bitch.

I'm sorry, but Roll is the sorriest piece of crap on that game (MVC2). Servebot actually is a little better than her. This guy at the arcade used Roll/Megaman for MVC, and Roll/Megaman/Tron when it first came out. But then, a couple months, he changed to servebot, because he said Roll was crap. And Roll couldn't take Zangief. Her throw range isn't that good if you consider her size, her saving grace is that she can get in under attacks. I actually remember once I was playing that Roll guy (he was using her still) and I was using Zangief(I like using him) He was running under my SC, but I canceled into FAB. Well, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Later.

Well I don`t know why is this topic so actual!I just hate CvS,I prefer to play MvC2!
It`s much better since it has a chain combos
the only cool feature in CvS is the SNK cha-
racters animation,just take a peek at Rugal
and Raiden,they look quite spiffy don`t you

When using Roll i've never had a problem with Zangief or Jin..... that said though, I don't really play MVC2.... just 1. Roll is a very hard fighter to grab, she jumps quickly and can useally avoid the arms of Zangief. The two are about the same speed gameplay wise, and Zangief is a better fighter no doubt, but Roll can be a major pain in the butt for him.
