Why were "Bonus Stages" taken out of all the fighters. I thought it was a nice break after a few matches and also a funny little extra that made the game breathe a little more. In Capcom vs. SNK it would be a great way to show us some cameos of past characters or show relationships between different characters with little comical skits of sorts. BTW, what's up with all the lame characters being thrown in there? Wouldn't the game sell better if all the popular characters were in there. Where's Robert, Andy or even Mr. Big!! I guess they know SNK fans will buy it anyhow.

I HATE bonus stages. For those here, you may have noticed how I posted my undying love for Street Fighter 3: Third Strike in the off-topic forum, and yet the only thing I hate about the game is the bonus stages. Yes, smashing the car was pretty cool, and sure the Sean parry level helps the parrying, but I WANT TO FIGHT, DAMNIT!

I agree. Bonus stages are lame. In my SF2 days I would beat up on my opponent instead of the car/barrels/bricks/drums. That was more fun.

I really meant as more as an extra, like unlocking hidden characters, stages or moves. If the bonus stage had a point to beating it then I think more will enjoy.

I hate ratio more than bonus, well the bonus stages in 3s were alright(though I hate Sean I have to love him for throwing them basketballs to improve my parrying)

Bah! I liked bonus stage myself. Back when there weren't practice modes and I sucked at fighting opponents, this was the only way I could improve on combos; though I still can't trash the car completely with Sagat. <IMG SRC="smilies/ohno.gif" border="0">
I'd still be jabbing and throwing if it weren't for beating up on the car and oil drums. Could have done without the barrels though; especially those cheesy ones that took two hits to break.

I kinda liked bonus stages. Remember the one's in FF1? Tap the buttons like mad, so your totally exhausted by the time the next match starts, thus losing it and having to put more money in.... Genius SNK, Genius.

Bonus stages are getting old and boring but it'll be nice for me to fight in a beat-up- someone-type Bonus Stage. And I hate ratios in Capcom vs SNK.
