Why was Andy Bogard MIA???

Why was Andy missing in action for this game huh? I think I speak for majority when I say Andy vs. Ken or Ryu would have been off the hook.

Here here! Andy should have been in all of the games. He is a very important character in the SNK timeline. Moreso than a lot of the other characters in the game.

I'd think that Andy's ommision from CvS is more because of KoF team representation then anything. I mean for the most part they have the major character from each of the teams - Kyo, Terry, Ryo, Iori, Mai, Kim. Then they needed three bosses so took Geese, Rugal, and Yamazaki. Other than that all the characters are paired off with their Capcom equivalents - Raiden/Zangief, Yuri/Sakura, Vice/Cammy. The only guys without any logic (mind you, this is Capcom's logic - not mine!) to their appearances are King and Benimaru. I'd guess they're in due to their popularity.

So that's essentially how Andy got left out. It's crazy logic I know, but it makes sense in it's way. You could argue that Andy's just as popular as King or Beni and that he should of been in instead of one of them. Personally, much as I like Andy I think it would have better suited the games logic to have replaced King and Beni with Athena and Leona. I'm still amazed that the Psycho Soldier and Ikari teams were just ignored. In my opinion they have a more predominant place in a SF vs. KoF game (what CvS essentially was) than Andy does.

andy has been in every KOF game. the garou team was the center of attention (vs. the AOF
team in the begining) along with kyo. andy is as much a part of KOF as anybody. he's ALSO been in every Fatal Fury game, including
the first game- which was the neo's first 1
on 1 fighter. get the picture- this motherfucker is an SNK CLASSIC character (i'd
say there are only a handful) and he needs to
be in CVS2 as much as, say Ken. just my input
on the whole "andy in cvs" thing.

I'd still remove Kim, as much as I like him, and put Andy in there instead. Andy's more of an SNK staple than Kim.

Now that I think of it, I would have made Kim a tier 1 character (slight loss of power in the process), removed King from the lineup and put Andy in as a tier 2 character.

Actually, I would have done away with the tiers altogether and given the choice of 1 on 1 or 3 on 3 fighting. I also would have added five characters to each faction for a bigger total selection (you know they could do it), eliminated the EX versions and added ending cinemas.

But that's just me. The game works fine as it is, even if it doesn't completely cater to my individual tastes.

It's always pissed me off at how Capcom can stick Ryu and Ken in every vs game, but the other teams that make up any other games are overlooked. Capcom's always done this crap even in their own vs games. We get Morrigan from Vampire in MvC, but no Demitri. Then comes MvC2 and who shows up; Felicia, B.B.Hood and Anarkaris; but still no Demitri. Demetri does rule. But there is a very good reason that he is not in MvsC2; his sex change move. Can you imagine all the trouble capcom would have to go through to give each character a female form (or joke form for the girls)? I doubt Marvel would look to kindly on having their properties become women.

And don't tell me that you don't need to have the sex change move in the game. Not having the sex change move is like not giving Mai bouncies; wrong! Plain old wrong. It shorts my logic circuits, er brain, just thinking about it.

I'm just pissed because I couldn't get a decent Male Snk grappler. Let's get it strraight I don't like Raiden! No way I will ever so there.

I think they should of put Clark in instead of Raiden because he's a better grappler. Yes Andy should of been there, ues I feel Andy should of been given the go instead of Joe. And yes if Andy isn't in a sequel I'll be mad.

Sad part is I never play Andy anyways, I just like the intros with Mai.

I really like the feel of the RBFF Joe better than the KOF one. I wish that someone else realizes that. Also I wish some ADK characters can make it in too, even if they're not as popular they still can outshine many Capcom characters. Hell they just need to stick every character from all Capcom and SNK fighting games and make everyone happy. Sometimes I just wish they would read these threads. By the way, ending sequences should have the characters animate with real speech dontya think?
