My choice is Iori in snk chars and Ryu in Capcom chars those two names just sound bad ass how about you guys ?

Name's are one area where SNK kicks Capcom's arse. Some favorites:

Kibagami Genjuro
Tachibana Ukyo
Kyoshiro Senryo
Iori Yamagi
Ryuji Yamazaki

Maybe I just like japanese names...

For Capcom, I alway liked Jon Tablain and Lord Raptor (interestingly not even their original names. Somehow Gallon and Zabel Zurek just doesn't sound as good)

kinda offtopic, but when playing CvS..I noticed most of the SNK characters have both a first and last name..while Capcom characters have been known by one name..example..Ryu..Guile..rather silly tidbit i guess!

Kyo Kusanagi...it reeks of sexy hero boy.

In Serbian (my nationality) Jedah means Grandfather. How odd a coincedence as the position of Grandfather also commands respect.

I like the characters based on one letters... gives 'em some type of edge... like K' (KOF) and Q (SF)

Anyway; Ryuji Yamazaki, Ken Masters, Karin Kanzaki, Kyo Kusanagi, Shingo Yabuki & All of the names in SS & LB are cool

They do have surnames, but Capcom don't use them much... how about:

Ryu Hoshi
Ken Masters
Chun Li Xiang
William Guile
Edmond Honda
Sakura Kasagona (I think)
Dan Hibiki
Mike Bison (LOL)
Charlie Nash
and Fei Long hahaha......

Funny how Capcom only put full names in this game.... strange that. You would have thought they would use full names in SF, but I guess not.
