is the desert stage in CVS2 similar to that of kof 2000?

i find the desert stage in CVS2 quite cool.in what ways is it similar to kof 2000? the windmill stage rocks too.

I don't think so... it seems to be set in the Desert with a Rally race going on in the background. I also hear that cars actually jump over you as you fight (if this is in 3D, I want to see how it turns out!)
