Actually, I'm getting some braces. Age 25, and braces. Truth be told, I already have them (the "invisible kind"). I wanted to get them because I was never very happy with my teeth. A lot of friends think I'm crazy and don't need them, but I know better. wink

Hey, don't sweat it. My mother was 59 when she first got braces. She had really bad teeth.

Cool. It's not a big deal, really, since they're hard to see, and my life is going on just fine with them. Kissing is just as easy with them as without... a big fear of mine when first getting them.

Just out of curiosity, are the invisalign braces covered by insurance? Or are they considered cosmetic and I have to pay full price?

For just about every dental insurance, ANY braces are not covered because it's "cosmetic". I'm like "yeah, so what?" Funny how, when for kids, it's not an issue to insurance companies... bullshit it's not, that's why you get it done: cosmetic for down the road. Too bad my family was too poor to do it when they should have.

Yes it was. Simple: We played three games, and our last guys were cheap bastards (your third Bison). I don't like playing that way, and so before either one of us died (we were both low on health), I simply quit. Yes your bison was doing a level 3 super as I quit, but he was far away from me, and I could have easily avoided it. Plus, you would notice that I didn't move for about 3 seconds. Because I was going through the options to put it to an end. I don't enjoy winning or playing against cheap chars, and so I thought it right that neither of us should win it. *shrug*

Yep, except there was no clear winner. Honestly, from now on if someone plays Bison against me three times, I WILL quit before the third game starts (not counting tourneys). You've been warned.

I'm sorry to say, but that's all pretty damn weak. If you can't take playing against certain characters in "Capcom vs SNK 2" then why are you playing it at all? The fact that you decided to pull out on the match (whether you thought you could have won or not) just puts you on the low level with all the rest of the quitters/droppers that plaque Xbox Live.
blow_top It's a shame too, because you've definitely got some great skill and I did enjoy our matches together until the end. What you did was dishonorable. shame
I find it funny that you consider Bison/Vega a "cheap" character, since most of his moves can be countered easily and he's got some lag (aka Psycho Crusher, Head Stomp). You should already know all this as you managed to fight well against him with your Geese. In comparison, there are characters with much better priority and with barely any lag that are much more of a threat when played cheaply (examples: Blanka, E. Honda, Sagat).
Of course if you fight people who abuse such characters in cheap ways it sucks to face them but come on if you commit to a match with someone stick with it until the end, don't be a coward and quit during the battle. Accept your loss, no matter how cheap you consider a player or character to be, quit afterwards and move on.
I think we all know that CVS2 has its issues and it can be very unbalanced (this is why most of us are hoping for "SNK vs Capcom" for the Neo-Geo as I'm sure it will be much better in the balance department ). But bottom line if you're going to get upset about playing against certain characters and people, reconsider if you wish to continue playing CVS2 Live and remove your post from the topic of "Honest Players who WILL NOT drop out place name here ". You shouldn't be there if you have these sorts of hang-ups... annoyed

Dude, chill out. Bison, to be played over and over is cheap ass shit. I didnt' knwo who the fuck I was playing, and you used other cheap chars too. Just chill out. You didn't win, and I didn't win. From now on, if you're going to be cheap, then don't play me at all. I think it's a slap in the face to keep picking cheap chars against someone you don't even know.
Get over it. I robbed you of a win as much as myself. Nobody was clearly the winner. I was just fed up with the scrub fest that the game turned into.

Best of luck to you coping with all those "cheap characters" that plaque the game (which included my use of characters like Iori and Yamazaki). oh_no

sorry Spike i think you are pretty cool, but reading all the crap that you had to put up with with guys disconnecting and in the end you do it yourself, that is pretty lame
to be honest reading through this you were gonna get beaten and you knew it so you disconnected, its a shame
btw everybody all characters are cheap if spike doesnt pick them

i have seen saturn_gamer's live tag mentioned in a list of certified drop outs, and sonic1687 (think it's that one) has also admitted to doing it.
if you think it's right or wrong to pull, then abide by your own rules. what goes around always comes around , yah.
