i don't compete because:
A) i hate arcade sticks, (probably just cause i'm not used to them, cause i could never afford the arcade before, so i grew up on consoles), so i am horrible with them.
B) edmonton doesn't have many arcades, 1 or 2 good ones that i know of. we don't really have a competition scene that i know of.
C)if i was ever going to compete with any fighting game, it would be with soul calibur.

i'm way better at that.
D) i really need practice, but none of my friends will play me anymore. go to the arcades? 1: i have to work 2: pay money to get my ass kicked? no thanks.
if i get better, maybe i'll start competing.
maybe me and my friend will head down there some time and compete (and get our asses kicked) just for the hell of it. he's from calgary, so maybe.
i noticed there's another guy in calgary on this board. 3 guys in alberta? not bad. my friend is also on this board, but he doesn't post much.
it would be nice to see how much damage your combo did though. i'm pretty proud of my kyo one, cause it's pretty flashy, does a lot of damage, and is as hard as hell to pull off. have yet to actually use it in a match though.
