will cvs2 be online for ps2?

just curious,i have been searching online......no luck. i own a gc.still decideing if i am gonna get a ps2 or xbox.(i wouldnt even consider xbox but cvs2 online <img src="graemlins/loco.gif" border="0" alt="[Loco]" /> )

also do you think the latency will suck?

As far as I know CvS2 for PS2 will never support online play, the Xbox version is the only one that will allow you to play online (at least in the USA).

No, CvS2 is already out on the US PS2 and it does not have online play. I already have the game and I can confirm this, I have left my room on multiple occasions since it's release, meaning that it does not have online play.

x-death i hope the fuck so too.........id rather get a ps2 instead of an xbox.i know they released it on ps2 was hopeing they would rerelease it with some xtra goodies.

nope, they just rereleased the DC version but in english. You want online play looks like your gonna have to get an x-box

but can't you use the import edition? the one for ps2 that comes with the network adapter? oh here's a good question are ps2 network adapters universal?

Only if you wanna be calling long distance everytime you play..I believe the adapter is 56k only and the server to play on is in Japan
