Fatal Fury Characters featured in Top 100 Sexiest Anime Characters...

In Animerica Magazine (a US Anime Magazine), the June issue featured animes Top 100 Sexiest Anime Characters based on fan votes...

I think the most suprising was that Geese Howard was ranked #11 on the list, which beat out both the Bogard brothers on the men's side. I guess being an evil crime boss has its advantages. Terry was ranked #45 and Andy was ranked #65. At least Andy beat out Ken Masters (Ken got #66) and Jotaro Kujo (ranked #72), from Jo-Jo's Bizarre Adventure, on the list. However, the lone hero from Street Fighter, Ryu, barely slipped past Andy getting ranked #61. Unfortunately, characters from Fatal Fury, Kim, Joe, and Billy didn't make the cut.

On the women's list for Sexiest Female, Mai Shirunai was ranked #25 overall. Unfortunately, she couldn't compete with femme fatales such as Morrigan Aensland of Darkstalkers who got #10 and Chun Li who ranked #13. Other female fighters that were featured was Felica the Catwoman from Darkstalkers (ranked #63) and Cammy White from Street Fighter (ranked #52).

You got to admit they did pretty good because they had to compete with other anime characters from the Gundam Series, Sailor Moon, Cowboy Bebop, and other anime series.

Overall...

2. Vegeta (Dragon Ball Z/GT)

3. Leader Desslok (Space Battleship Yamato)

4. Dark Schneider (Bastard!!)

1. Cutey Honey (Cutey Honey)

2. Misato (Neon Genesis Evangelion)

3. Utena (Revolutionary Girl Utena)

4. Asuka Langley Soryu(Neon Genesis Evangelion)

5. Naomi Armitage (Armitage III)

What a bunch of tards; Mai is 10000000000000000X hotter than Chun-Li. Mai should have been #1...period! And what's with Rei Ayanami not making the top 5 female cut? Get that dyke Utena outta there and insert Rei!

As for Mai getting ranked #25, who knows...I thought she would of got higher marks.

you know its determined by a bunch of fat people sitting around eating tubs of butter when you have dragon ball z characters beat out cowboy bebop characters and such....one word for this "ranking".......DISGRACE!

Actually, what suprised me the most was that there were no Outlaw Star Characters on the list if not Gene Starwind on the male list, then at least Melfina or Twilight Sazuka on the female list. Just be grateful no Pokemon or Digimon Characters made the cut.

I think one of the suprise characters was Roger Smith the Negotiator (ranked #15) on the anime "The Big O." Also, Piccolo was featured on the Top 100 being #96.

BTW, the ranking of the characters for Cowboy Bebop were...

For the males side:

Spike Spiegel (#17)
Jet Black (#86)

For females:

Faye Valentine out ranked Mai Shirunai being ranked #18.

It's based in Bay Area...the lead editor is a lady and furthermore, I was beaten to the punch about issuing a complaint. There were some people who had more issues than I do about the ranking, this included Gundam Fans, Cowboy Bebop Fans, Outlaw Star Fans...I think King of Fighters fans were more ruthless of the bunch protesting Mai should of beaten out both Chun Li and Morrigan.

Let's put it this way, it was a fan poll, you didn't vote, your vote would of effected the result and because there weren't as much votes we get the sorry @$$ results. However, I give props to all the Geese Howard fans, if it wasn't for them Geese wouldn't of recieve #11 on the male list.

Oh well, if they pull something like this again, hopefully they'll either state "in no particular order on the list" or put some other stat to help the reader. Cuz, I was kind of upset about the list also. There were some characters I felt were left out.

I think animes only and because Mary wasn't in any of the FF animes, she is not on the list...but the FF3 Anime keeps coming up and I am not sure if it exists or not, yet it is listed on imdb's anime list.
