Did you prefer the '94 Kyo or '96-'02 Kyo?

I holding a post to see who you like better? The '94-'95 Kyo or '96-'02 Kyo? I personally like the '94-'95 Kyo more than I like the '96-'02 Kyo. But, that's just me. What about you?

96-02 Kyo, show's SNK could try something diffrent by having a character switch styles, Kyo was cool before but with his new fighting sword-fight like style he went to uber cool

94-95 Kyo was just another fireball user to me and was kinda bland

I like the 97-02 Kyo better. I also like his clothing change. I like the one he wears from 99 on through. drool I have got to get me one of those uniforms and maybe play some Cosplay at school!

^_^ oh, I also like Kyos punch DM from 2000, y'know, the one where he has that circle of fire around him? It looks so cool; God that kicks so much ass. (to me) drool

the best kyo as i think who was in 98 but I can say that kyo99 is the best for new ganeration but with some edit like his slow super muts be more fast like in 2001 and add his orchi one in 2001

I think the best "school" kyo is 98

and best Shin Kyo is 2001.

I agree witht he new "fire punching" Kyo being better. Sure it was okay in 94/95, but he was just another shoto until the punching. Now he's very very cool and unique.

I've always liked the old KOF'94 & '95 Kyo way
much better than its second ver IMO.

98 was probably the best Kyo, he had so many moves and he had that nice "Fire from the Sky" type super from 97.

He still had the HCB+K which was a nice follow up to his QCF+K (ok the 99-02 one has a nice follow up to thats longer but I still miss the HCB+K!)

I'm praying that its this version that makes it into SvC.

I agree with Burnout. Before Kyo was just a fire ball throwing character, and how often do we see that?

What else can I say but '96-'02 Kyo. The earlier Kyo just threw ground fireballs with two speeds, slow and fast. The newer one with the flame punches adds a whole new dimension of playability to Kyo.

I prefer kyo with the flame punches.It makes him an upclose fighter and i like that.It also adds more depth to his combos and some juggles.
I like it when they change his outfit in 99 but i hate his 99 version gameplaywise.His orochinagi DM/SDM was the slowest in 99 and it can't be comboed from his qcf+D,D launch kick.

Kyo '98 all the way, followed by '99 then '95. from '00 onwards he sucks, okay the difference isn't great, but I think he sucks so muck c*ck these days. Feel free to prove wrong

I can play the old Kyo (or Kusanagai) pretty well but I can't touch the new one with the a ten foot pole. Still the new one is much cool if he never changed he might as well have changed his name to Saysiu and grown a beard

95 Kyo is the best...he had cool vocals, and the sound effects to his moves were cool. He was also very quick in that version.

Second best is the 98 version of Kyo..he was fun that year.

Nowadays, Kyo is so Weak that Shingo can beat the Hell out of him with no real problems.
